Doug Preston -Executive Director

Mr. Preston brings over 15 years of golf and tennis industry experience to the JCD team since his arrival in 2008. With seven years as the Golf and Tennis Contracts Manager for the City of Hollywood and as General Manager of two golf courses while with American Golf, Mr. Preston has been in both the private and public sectors of the recreation industry. He has had direct responsibility of all facets of golf and tennis operations and management. Mr.Preston’s previous experience as a systems analyst for Aetna Life and Casualty also provides the logistical experience needed in today’s business environment. Mr. Preston has been heavily involved in two non for profit organizations: The Diamonds in the Rough Youth Golf Program and Citizens to the Rescue.
Michael D’Arcy - Director of Tennis
Michael is originally from Ireland. After moving to Texas, he attended and graduated from the Tennis Technology program in Tyler, run by Steve Smith. He has also trained the other leaders in the tennis field such as Vic Baden, Dennis Van der Meer, and James Loehr. Michael Has worked with nationally ranked juniors, coached women’s collegiate tennis, and was the head pro of a municipal tennis facility in Tampa, Florida where he was responsible for organizing and running junior clinics, adult clinics, and summer camps.
Allington Mutimer -
Assistant Director of Tennis
Allington was a full time coach in Norwich, England for 17 years and, as a player, he represented his county at both the junior and senior level. Allington has since dedicated his time and skills to harnessing the energy of boys and girls, as well as men and women who share his passion for the game.
He was awarded the honorable ‘National Coach of the Year’ award in 2004 by the BTCA (British Tennis Coaches Association) for his outstanding contribution, driving force, and dedication to “creating” players. He coached juniors to National Junior Championships and through to ITF levels, traveling with them throughout Europe and as far as West Africa.
Allington plans on reviving some of the previously offered programs of the club and is eager to initiate new tennis programs, such as the ‘Wanna Work Out’ sessions, and ‘Quickstart Mini Tennis’ for three to six year olds, as well as social match play doubles.
Jeanne Evert Dubin -
Director of Women's Leagues
Jeanne was the U.S. National Girl's 12 and 14-and-under champion. She turned pro at the age of 15 and competed on the WTA Tour until the age of 20. Her biggest wins were over Grand Slam Champion Margaret Court in singles and a doubles victory over her sister Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova with Olga Morozova as her partner. She played in all four Grand Slam events and represented the US in the Wightman Cup and Federation Cup matches. Just before retiring in 1978, she achieved her highest ranking of 28th in the world. Jeanne has a USPTA P-1 Certification and served as Director of Tennis at Stonebridge Golf & Country Club for 7 years. She began teaching at the Delray Beach Tennis Center in June of 2002.

Alan Antolic
Alan is the Director of Tournaments and Summer Patrons Program for the Delray Beach Tennis Center. He played #1 for his High School tennis team in Burbank, CA and played USTA tournaments as a junior for nearly 10 years. Alan also trained under top professionals in Croatia and Germany as a juniorHe began his professional career in Chicago, IL at the Mid-Town tennis club and has continuously taught clinics to adults for the past ten years.
Mark Williams
Mark is originally from Philadelphia, PA and was ranked in the state of Texas as a junior, where he won the Texas state championships in 1978. Mark has coached in the National Junior Tennis League and has done extensive tennis clinics in doubles strategy and proper stroke technique. Prior to coming to the Delray Beach Tennis Center, Mark taught at Majestic Isles and Tivoli Reserve in Boynton Beach, and at two private clubs in Philadelphia: Woodford T.C. and Philadelphia T.C. Mark is also the 2010 ATA National men’s 35 singles and men’s 40 doubles champion.
Brandon Flanagan
Brandon is a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional and an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer. Brandon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Exercise Science from Furman University, where he played Division I College Tennis. He spent several years training under Steve Smith in Tampa, Florida, where he gained valuable experience coaching internationally and nationally ranked juniors. Brandon now has a lead role in the Junior Development Program at the Delray Beach Tennis Center. He is also a Personal Trainer at The Gym 111, where he specializes in Tennis Specific Training.
Robert Wojcik
Robert graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentration in Exercise Science, Sport Administration, and Psychology.
He is a former member of the National Polish Junior Team. He has won the Polish National Doubles Junior Championship (3 times). He was also a finalist of the Junior Polish National Singles Championships. He participated in the European Junior Championships, the European Cup (the best national tennis teams in Europe), the National Champion NJCAA (Junior College Division), achieved #11 NCAA doubles ranking, and has played on the professional tour.
Karla Wojcik
Karla graduated from Tennis Tech Program (Tyler Junior College) under direction of Steve Smith.
She was a former member of the National Bolivian Junior Team. She played college tennis at Brenau University (ranked 3 nationally NAIA – 1997); and has also played professional club tennis in Germany.
Karla completed 4 years of college at Brenau University – Georgia. She speaks 4 languages (Spanish, German, French, and English).
John R. Laus
John has been with the Delray Beach Tennis Center since May of 2006. He started working at the front desk and later volunteered to teach the inner city youths of Delray Beach. John found teaching young people to be rewarding and enjoyable, so he enrolled in the Teaching Essentials Certification Program to become a certified instructor.
Today John teaches the Early Childhood Development Program, and assists with the Junior Kids Program. He also teaches the Adults “Back to Basics” clinics and assists with the “Wanna Work Out” clinics. He specializes in early childhood developmental tennis, adult beginners, and adults returning to the game.
