2006 Caddy Shack Tournament

Lakeview Golf Club played host to the annual CaddyShack Tournament on Sunday, October 22, 2006. Nearly 60 area residents, friends and family took part in the event that serves to bring the community together while enjoying a fun day out on the course. The participants used as their theme the popular 1980 classic CaddyShack, a golf comedy about the "behind the scenes" atmosphere at an exclusive golf club. Every hole posted a sign with a famous picture and quote from the movie, and many participants dressed up as their favorite character from the movie. The tournament was once again a rousing success and provided a worthy avenue to celebrate the importance of community and neighborly comradeship. Afterwards, participants celebrated at the home of one of the residents whose backyard faces the golf course where prizes were awarded for "Longest Drive" and "Closest to the Pin."
