Women's International 4-Ball History

The Women's International 4-Ball Tournament has been played at Orangebrook Golf & Country Club for the past 61 years. It is the longest running women's amateur event held at the same location in the United States. The City of Hollywood is proud to once again present this tournament to golfers from around the world.
 
A few notable past champions are Lousie Suggs, Peggy Kirk, Babe Zaharis, Alice Bauer, Betsy Rawls, Marleene Bauer, Cookie Swift Berger, Ruth Jessen & Marleen Stewart.
 
The format of the tournament is best ball of two partners. The qualifying rounds are 36 hole stroke play. The low eight teams will qualify to move into match play. The play then proceeds with the best ball format in match play.
 
Tournament Entry Requirements & Entry Fees
Amateur women ~ handicap index of 15 or less
$150.00 per team. Reduced cart fees ~ $10.00 per day
Caddies & spectators are always welcome!
 
Practice Rounds
Saturday, January (19th) and Sunday, January (20th) will be available for practice rounds.

Monday, January (21st) and Tuesday, January (22nd) - 36 Hole Qualifying Rounds (Low 16)
Wednesday, January (23rd) 1st Round
Thursday, January (24th) 2nd & 3rd Rounds
Friday, January (26th) Finals (36 holes)
 
Consolation Round: Wednesday January (23rd) - 18 Hole Medal
