The West Palm Beach Golf Course is seeking part-time staff to fill multiple positions in a high energy environment. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Shifts in the summer are typically from 6:30 am- 1:00 pm, 1:00pm- 8:00 pm. We are looking to fill the following positions:
1. Starter/Ranger- Must be able to manage the starting time tee sheet to keep play running on time. Have a friendly outgoing personality. Communication with the shop via hand set radio. Job responsibility includes refilling water stations, monitoring play on course, and other tasks as assigned. Must be able to lift /move up to 50 lbs to move water coolers.
2. Range Attendant- Responsibilities include picking the driving range, operating the ball washing machine, refilling the ball dispenser daily, cleaning areas on the perimeters of the range, sanding divots on the teeing area nightly, moving ropes and bag stands, and monitoring water coolers on the course. Range attendant tasks often include filling in as a ranger or starter as needed. Must be able to lift /move up to 50 lbs to move water coolers.
3. Shop Cashiers- Responsibilities include checking customers in with computer based program and selling merchandise in the shop. Friendly outgoing personality required. Ability to multitask in a high energy environment by attending to customer needs on site, taking customer calls by phone, and communicating by radio hand set with the starters.
