Peter Arvanitis II

Corporate Agronomist

Pete was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He was introduced to golf course maintenance while working part time during summer vacations. His love of nature and being outdoors convinced Pete to pursue a career in golf course maintenance. Pete attended Ohio State University and earned his degree in Golf Course and Turfgrass Operations. Following his graduation from Ohio State, Pete moved to Florida and began his turfgrass management career. He worked in various capacities at Lost Tree Golf Club in West Palm and St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton before becoming the Golf Course Superintendent at Southwinds Golf Course in 1996.
